Eyeo Festival [Events]

Founded by Dave Schroeder, the name behind Flashbelt we had a great pleasure to be part of last year, has just launched Eyeo Festival, new event bringing together the most creative coders, designers and artists working today, and shaping tomorrow. Expect an amazing three days of talks, labs, demos & events fueled by the people and tools that are transforming digital culture.
Dave writes in his email:
I love producing events and bringing great people together to be inspired and have fun. For some time now I’ve wanted to be able to bring together a wider range of people, addressing a changing range of topics. So with the help of a few folks I’m starting the Eyeo Festival. A place holder went live today. It’s going to be amazing. I’m excited. (Kinda like the first Flashbelt all over again.)
Having been to Flashbelt I know what a fantastic host Dave is, not only for speakers but attendees alike, filling each day with events around the clock. Even though the tickets are not on sale yet, over the coming weeks, the team will be announcing more amazing speakers, a full schedule for the event, and details about travel and hotel options. Tickets for the Eyeo Festival will go on sale the first week of February. Join their mailing list and they’ll let you know when the full site launches and when tickets become available.
Speakers included: Golan Levin, Ben Fry, Casey Reas, Amanda Cox, Robert Hodgin, Zach Lieberman, Nicholas Felton, Mark Hansen, Jer Thorp, Marius Watz, Heather Knight, Nervous System, and many others, already mentioned a number of times on CAN.
If you like CAN, art, technology, and all the design that goes with it, we’ll see you at eyeo!
