Granimator – Japan Packs [iPad, Events]

ustwo™ recently returned from Tokyo (10th-16th May) after successfully hosting a series of Granimator™ creative workshops in partnership with GASBOOK and Moving Brands, Tokyo. iPad users will have access to a variety of packs from local Tokyo graffiti artist Houxo Que, design studios Moving Brands, Groovisions, Devil Robot, Power Graphixx and a capsule collection of six GASBOOK artists including; Shinou Hidehito, Ohara Daijiro, Ten_Do_Ten, Hiroshi Iguchi, Shinpei Onishi and Yuko Kanatani.

To celebrate the launch of Granimator™ in Japan, ustwo™, Moving Brands, GASBOOK and Houxo Que are hosting a special event at the Ginza Apple Store on 24th June – 7.00pm.

We have been sent few (see below) Houxo Que’s Granimator™ pack (available now in the appstore) images, plus some of him in action taken by mills in Japan. Houxo Que is an artist based in Tokyo. His main series of works frequently referencing flowers, entitled “Day and Night”, are luminous installations using florescent paints and UV lights. All backgrounds and colors change depending on day or night.

Also embeded below is the demo movie from Granimator™ Moving Brands pack also now available in the appstore. To access the packs, first download the free Ganimator application and look for in-app purchases.
