BlackHoles [iPhone]

blackholes00

BlackHoles is an experimental interactive art application by Luis Ferreira. It produces an immersive environment using binaural sounds and a 3D space that changes according to the orientation of the iphone.

Place the blackholes, give them energy by pressing longer onto the objects, move and see how they interact between each other. Quite similar to Brian Eno’s Bloom, BlackHoles explores territory of experimental music and visual art.

The project idea is very well explained in this early proposal draft and outlines some future development opportunities including multiple devices communication over WiFi.

Luis Ferreira is a Portuguese 23 year old student currently finishing his Master in Computing and Informatics Engineering. His main interests include subjects such as data visualization, web development, interaction design, brain modeling, artificial intelligence and robotics.
