Cs133 [iPhone]
Cs133 is a spatial, digital, and graphical representation of the 86400 seconds we have to spend every day. The factor of time is a wonderful subject to play with. Consider it an art project, the movie below gives a strong sense of why second matters. Cs133 is about that, inspired by the Cesium133 Atom, used in atomic clocks, which are accurate to seconds over many thousands of years. The seconds we have to spend are not a choice but a must. How you choose to do that is totally up to you. Where will your seconds go today?
One second is the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the Cesium133 atom.
A beautifully simple app,  one in a thirty thousand. What makes it stand out is also the truly wonderful site created just for the app. Included is the flash demo of the app and must see movie also embedded in this post below.
