Cs133 [iPhone]

Cs133 is a spatial, digital, and graphicalÂ representation of the 86400 seconds we have toÂ spend every day. The factor of time is a wonderful subject to play with. Consider it an art project, the movie below gives a strong sense of why second matters.Â Cs133 is about that, inspired by theÂ Cesium133 Atom,Â used inÂ atomic clocks, which are accurate to seconds over many thousands of years. The seconds we have to spend are not a choice but a must. How you choose to do that is totally up to you. Where will your seconds go today?

One second is the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the Cesium133 atom.
