5059 Edge Touch [iPhone]
We have already mentioned 32×32 and DotEditor but released only 2 days is a fully featured pixel art editor  Edge Touch. Feature packed with ability to copy and paste sections of the drawings, full colour at your disposal, fill, marquee selections including magic wand, transform ie scale, layers and animation(!), Edge Touch is highly impressive. I am also very surprised of the accuracy and found myself less likely to make a mistake than in DotEditor. Fast, feature full pixel art drawing on your iPhone/iPod Touch.
Whilst 32×32 offers precision in greyscale and wonderful interface and DotEditor full colour but lacks accuracy, if you are after a full colour pixel art editor, for now, Edge Touch is the one to go for.
[Main Features]
-Supports from 1×1 to 256×256 pixels.
-Basic drawing function that free-form curve, is straight line, square, round, etc.
-Function that can be canceled at once by doing tap by middle finger at the time of drawing by forefinger.
-Undo and Redo function.
-Grid display function (It is revokable at intervals).
-The adjustment by not only RGB color space but also the HLS color space is possible in the color palette.
-Layer function.
-Layer group function to edit two or more layers at the same time (movement and copy paste, etc. within the range of selection).
-The same size can be displayed at the same time.
-Animation function to use layer.
-Function that exports to photographic library.
(ps. are we seeing another “Edge” trademark infringement on the way?)

mhhh – cool stuff – but export SUCKS – all blurry no crisp pixels… without the possibility to export the work to my loved crispy pixels it's of no use! please fix this! The rest of the App is really GREAT!

I haven't tested this app myself, yet, but on the developer's site it says something about preventing blurred images by choosing “zoom to screen size (320×480)” when exporting. Maybe that helps?
Here is the link to the manual page about this: http://iphone.takabosoft.com/en/edgetouch/manua...

Can anyone comment on how well EDGE Touch works on the iPad? Is it a basic 2x scaling or is does the app make good use of the extra screen real estate?

I do my blog, 16×16.tumblr.com exclusively with Edge Touch. It has everything that a pixeljunkie could ask for, the only two things that bothers me are:
1: likes to crash every once in a while
2:no ipad version (yet)
