We don’t tend to write about Japaneese only apps here on CAN but maybe we should. Thanks to google translate, getting the info about the app is quite easy so that shouldn’t be a problem whilst downloading the app is another issue all together. Like this one in question, only US iTunes users and Japanese seem to be able to. Trying with my UK account, didn’t work.
Japan Flights (or as google translated it ‘Probe station for domestic flight schedule‘ which sounds somewhat weird) is your flight information app for Japan internal flights. Where in Europe and US most flight info apps are pretty dull, Japan seems to make everything a lot more exciting. When you first start the app you see the map of Japan. Clicking on any of the cities, map zooms in and shows you available flight as arcs connecting the cities. Picking the city will give you more information on the flight on a gorgeous retro-ish fligh information board. Simple infosthetic, graphical and informative. See screens below.
