Pulsar: Interactive Particle System [iPhone]
Pulsar is a particle generation application allowing you to create some truly wonderful animated compositions. From simple cubes to complex geometries there is something for everyone. When we first tried the app we ended up spending about an hour trying out variations. What is also interesting about Pulsar is that even though the graphics you are creating are self-generated, your interaction with the objects and compositions you create by arranging and recomposing actually makes them pretty unique.
Unfortunately, although you can save your creations within the app, the only way to get them out is to use iPhone’s capture screen function (home button+power), which adds another level of luck trying to capture the right moment – not a bad thing actually. Nevertheless, we hope that in the future releases developers will include some functions to export your creations (capture button/flickr upload?). Have a look at the video below and let us know what you think and don’t forget to share your creations on flickr.
