Typography [iPhone]

Created by Labworks in addition to the online typographykicksass.com, Typography for the iPhone allows you to send messages to your friends which are displayed using random sets of letters and numbers from Labworks’ Flickr pool. As the photo pool is steadily increasing the random query of photos to display is always different and the visual appearance of the messages always changes.

Simply type your message and preview an example of the message. Shake the device to generate a new visualization of the message with new images. This preview is only an example and not necessarily the way the recipient is going to visualize the message due to the random character of the image display.

Typography and Photography come together. Wonderful stuff!

    Sends an email to the person with a link to open the message in the iPhone app or to visit the website for those without the iPhone app.
    I guess you could also take a screen grab and just email this, not a functionality included in the app.

    Thanks Filip. That extra hop the reciever has to make to view the message makes a difference to me. Yes, one could take a screenshot and send it (or two, if need to scroll for more message). At first glance, I think this is cool, but I really can’t find a need for it…yet. :)
