Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Category: Art Director
The people of INDG are looking for a CG Art-Director to join us in Amsterdam or Bucharest (expats welcome).
Throughout its 15-year-old history, INDG has been producing stills, animations, sites, apps, AR and VR things. What brings those things together is two points: first, mostly everything is done in CG; second, we work to highlight and promote physical devices. Bikes, juicers, beer separators, beer itself, clothes, steam generators to iron this clothes with—everything that you can touch we can promote.
Companies like Honda, Suitsupply, Philips, Nivea or Ralph Lauren thus come to INDG not just for beautiful 3D, but for this love of objects, materials and industrial design.
INDG also loves automating things. Check out Grip for stills: https://www.grip.tools. Or look at PEX, INDG’s very own website engine: http://staging.indg.com/Highlander/. Or maybe you’ll like an AR framework that can catch light and was implemented in several automotive and furniture apps: http://automotive.indg.com, http://amikasa.indg.com.
All those things and many more need art-directors who can concept, defend and overlook the whole production process.
Of Art-Directors we ask very little: excellent portfolio showcasing some proficiency with promoting physical devices; the love for the devices themselves; fluent English and charismatic personality.
So please do send your portfolios and in your cover letter give some links to the projects that you think click with INDG the most.
What you’ll be doing is very much like any other agency: think of scripts, stories, and interactive concepts; create decks that reflect your ideas; defend the concepts to the clients; supervise end-to-end what the production team will be executing.
For non-CG matters, you will be supported by UI designers, a video art-director, and other professionals.
Some of our perks, but not limited to…in Amsterdam
We’re located in the heart of Amsterdam, in Raamplein 1. Think… a converted school, tall ceilings and long corridors. Each open room has glass windows which make it easy enough to wave hello to your colleagues but enjoy the space to get work done!
If you move from abroad, we will support you with your relocation (e.g. 30% ruling, housing-search, relocation loan, flights, tax-return support in the first year).
We’re a fun bunch who love spending time together whether it’s Tennis on Tuesdays, 4 PM Pizza Fridays or more seriously, putting our heads together to solve 1000 piece puzzles.
We have cost-saving schemes for the bike and gym enthusiasts and if it’s food you’re after then a small daily cost for a healthy communal lunch or the late workers can choose dinner from the takeaway menu each evening. And we don’t stop there …join us for boat rides in the canals of Dam or our very own cinema room for movie nights!
We’re located in the heart of Bucharest, at 24 Invingatorilor Street, Victory Business Center, in a modern office-building with one of the best views of the Bucharest skyline. You’ll be working in our open-space environment, close enough to your other team members so that you can always connect, but spacious enough for you to express your creativity. The team consists of fairly senior members, with tons of experience in product visualization and high-end animations, who love to pass their knowledge further to every new colleague. Besides the usual perks of any professional company, we also pride ourselves in doing everything we can to keep this “family” close together: from learning opportunities and internal game-areas to fun outdoor events and movie nights.
Come join us and find out all about it!
