STRP LINKS CREATIVITY TO TECHNOLOGY
STRP GIVES ROOM TO MAKERS
STRP MAKES THE FUTURE TANGIBLE IN THE PRESENT
STRP is a small and flexible organisation that operates as a year-round platform and driving force at the interface of creativity and technology. STRP commissions artists of all disciplines to make new works and challenges its audience to not just watch and listen but start experimenting themselves as well. STRP collaborates on a regular basis with makers and educators, businesses and organisations and acts as a superconductor for the technology, design and creativity that make up Eindhoven’s DNA. The STRP Biennial attracts 20,000 to 30,000 visitors in ten days, ranking it among the top ten of trend-setting festivals for creative technology world-wide. Today, visitors are just as strongly drawn to the installations, performances, lectures and workshops as to the music. Talented young makers take the stage alongside innovative celebrities. The Biennial’s hybrid programme guarantees a unique experience for young and older, for enthusiasts and professionals. STRP is characterised by an accessible, exciting programme, a curious approach and an international appeal.
