Description

The Creative Technology Lead brings their deep understanding of the most innovative technologies out there to bear on the agency’s creative product. This position is meant to be right there in the trenches concepting with art directors, writers, user experience designers and beyond. The ideal is a creatively minded developer or engineer who can lead a project from concept through to technical architecture and development.

Detailed areas of responsibility include:

Equal parts creative collaborator, technical problem solver and technical visionary

Rock solid technical experience of both front-end and back-end development along with a preference for open source frameworks and social technologies and APIs

Demonstrate a creative spark and the ability to collaborate effectively with art directors, writers, user experience designers and all other creative thinkers across the agency

Creates or contributes to concepts, hands-on development and management of technical details of a large account or project, and mentoring other developers internally or guiding an external vendor

Educates agency about new or innovative technologies available to meet business needs

As a Lead, some experience is expected in mentoring small, project-based teams of developers and the day-to-day technical issues that arise on projects. You should be comfortable assisting developers and sharing your knowledge with others

Works with Lead Technical Engineer to establish and modify procedures for defining development practices, documenting the overall architecture, and maintaining quality and accuracy in the development process

Works closely with Interactive Production to ensure projects are delivered on time, to a strong level of quality and with expectations of high load tolerance and uptime; maintains an inclusive process that empowers entire digital team to contribute to final results

Identifies areas that require attention and works with the Interactive Operations Director to ensure time and resources are dedicated to continually improving our situation and reducing areas of concern

Maintains an inclusive process that empowers entire digital tram to contribute to final results

Provides leadership and professional development of team members

Instills a culture of accountability and reliability among members of the team

Stays current on relevant technology and conducts necessary research and development testing to assess emerging technology options.
