Description

Fabrica offers scholarships to young creatives aged 25 or under. Right now, we are particularly looking for residents in interactive fields: web developers, interaction designers, software engineers, creative coders, data visualisers, hardware hackers, urban informatics, and related. We’re especially seeking applicants with strong backgrounds in PHP, SQL, CSS, JQuery, Processing.js, and social media APIs in order to help us execute various web based projects.

Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship to spend one year in Fabrica working on a range of meaningful and challenging creative projects. The scholarship includes free accommodation in Treviso (to share with one or two other Fabrica residents), free lunch from Monday to Friday, a monthly money supply to cover living expenses, and health insurance for the entire duration of the scholarship.

Fabrica is a genuinely unique environment, the fruit of the Benetton Group’s cultural legacy. It is based in Treviso, Italy in a complex restored and enlarged by Tadao Ando.
