Product Specialist / Artist at 10bit FX / Notch

Company: 10bit FX / Notch

Location: UK or LA or NYC
Type: Full-Time
Category: Artist

10bit FX, the creators of Notch, are seeking an experienced visual effects / motion graphics artist to join them as a Product Specialist to help us continue to become a disruptive force in the content creation industry.

Already trusted by the world’s biggest artists, brands and events, Notch is the first tool that enables you to create interactive and video content in one unified real-time WYSIWYG environment. It revolutionises the creative workflow for interactive VR, 360/VR video, live event visuals and traditional motion graphics and visual effects.

We’re seeking someone to work with the Notch user base to help develop their use of Notch. You’ll do this in multiple ways: helping them build their own projects to realise their creative ideas; supporting them on site on some of the world’s most exciting live events and touring productions around the world; running training courses; and through social media.

The role works closely with both the sales and product development teams. With your close contact to customers and the experience you will gain in using the product you will become a key voice in the direction of the development of the product.

Our team is geographically spread but based in London, UK, and we encourage remote working and flexibility. Our preference is for a UK based person, but we are open to individuals based in New York City or Los Angeles. Due to the international spread of our customer base, you’ll need to have a taste for travel as you spend time with our customers where they operate.

We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years experience in the visual effects, motion graphics or related industries, with an exciting portfolio and a strong knowledge of one of the major 3D tools (e.g. Cinema4D / Maya / 3DS MAX / Lightwave). Working knowledge of related software such as AfterEffects, Nuke, Fusion, Houdini, and experience of node based interfaces and creation of particle effects, fluid simulations and lighting / render engines are all beneficial.
