Your mission

As a Senior Interaction Designer you will be involved in the core team of the laboratory. Your mission is to imagine and produce innovative experiences for emerging technologies and contribute the emergence of knowledge. You will work in collaboration with the team of engineers and our research assistant. Your tasks will include:

– Design innovative experiences linked to various digital technologies, supports and contexts
– Use research, wireframes, prototypes, etc. to work out and validate designs
– Own specific projects and act as project manager
– Work collaboratively with project teams, especially engineers to build new design experiences and prototypes
– Test the impact of prototypes, understand user’s perception and emotional state in relation with our competences in UX/UI psychology research
– Interact with industry, universities and design schools (national and international)
– Share your knowledge to improve the work of others by participating in group or individual trainings
– Teach and advise postgraduate students and research assistants, be involved in the planning of the curriculum offered by the Lab

Your profile

Enthusiastic about joining a challenging and innovative environment, you are passionate about design, new technologies and their impact on society. Furthermore, you are a team player and have a creative thinking and innovative personality.

– Graduated from a Master in interaction design, visual communication or equivalent with at least 3+ years of professional experience. Bachelor can be considered, providing a strong professional experience.
– Strong visual design sense and culture
– Conceptual thinker both visual and interactive
– Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Ps, Ai, Ae)
– Skills in Sketch and prototyping tools like InVision
– Experience with Unity is a big plus
– Experience with prototyping in JavaScript is a plus as well
– Confident in working in cross functional teams including user research, engineering and architecture
– Ability to prioritize, organize, and communicate your work and ideas
– Strong project management and decision making skills
– Ability to work both in team and autonomously
– Fluent in English, French is an asset
