This was disaster for us. I got so lost in hypercard that the world stopped as new insights about language took me away from the world. Years later near ruination is still around to haunt us. I even have one program written around Apple's time function that demos the ability to predict the future by converting base 10 to base 26 or at least its a mind blowing start to what has to be a linguistic base 40 instead of the alphabet's base 26. Write a base conversion program and test it on famous days in history like I did. Pearl Harbor day was the first earthquake. There is a page on my site that talks about this and some other research potentials that hypercard let me in to gradually after getting it free in 1987.

Love the trip down memory lane, one correction however. TileStack does actually let you use their in-browser tools to build NATIVE iPhone apps for sale on the App Store. Here's a link describing the whole process: http://bit.ly/2r5xl7 - TileStack also has stuff in the pipeline to allow the same process to work for Android and Palm Pre devices. Not to mention TileStack can directly import old HyperCard stacks as well as let you embed your stacks on any website or download them as dashboard widget, google gadgets, etc. All-all-in TileStack is (IMO) the perfect natural evolution of HyperCard. Worth a look for HyperCard fans for sure.

The TileStack people are doing a pretty good job serving things into iPhones - they can actually get them into the app store apparently. Not quite what you want, I'd guess, but still impressive.
