CAN Social Feed [News]
In the last few weeks we have been trying to find the best way to aggregate CAN activities online. We have many followers and readers but sometimes some of our postings are missed. Twitter is a good example where you may miss some awesome links we post because you were simply asleep. Wouldn’t be great if you could just catch up on all of those tweets without relying on Twitter? There is no better way to do this than via RSS. We have now created a new feed for CAN which aggregates all of it’s activity including some of my personal on Dropular and ffffound. So, here is what is included:
CAN Flickr Group: Latest images uploaded to CAN’s flickr pool. If you haven’t joined yet, do it now and post your screens/apps/or anything wonderful you might be working on.
CAN Vimeo Group: Latest videos added to CAN’s vimeo pool. Add your own screencasts/videos/or anything else you think we would all love.
CAN on Twitter: We regularly post on Twitter. If you follow us already you may find it hard to keep up. With the feed, now you can, and not miss a tweet.
CAN on AppShopper: These are all the apps we reviewed and their latest updates. If the app is reduced in price or even made free, you will know even before we tweeted it.
Dropular: Some inspirational images I collect on Dropular.net (art, technology, illustration, photography)
ffffound: Even more inspirational images I find (art, technology, illustration, photography)

Please note that because this is running through feedburner, your RSS feed link should never have to change (in theory). We may choose to modify it slightly in the future or even add additional services. Because this is for test purposes, note that it might break, behave strangely and even not work at times.
The feed was created using Yahoo Pipes and Google Feedburner. You can clone the pipe here and make an aggregate feed for yourself. Interesting to note is that the pipe also includes a nice little gadget which removes “@creativeapps:” from the Twitter feed leaving it nice and clean. This was all then fed into Feedburner leaving with with a clean subscription address “http://feeds.feedburner.com/CreativeApplicationsNetSocial”
If you have any problems with the feed or find bugs/lack of updates, please leave a comment below.
NOTE: This is not CAN’s main feed. If you are looking for the main feed with all the posts subscribe in the main menu.
