Knotty Objects is a forum for wide-ranging discussions around the confluences of design, science, technology and the arts. Taking place at the MIT Media Lab and streamed live online, the event will be examining the antidisciplinary future of design in its broadest terms, from new dimensions in organic design, to manufactured objects, to digital tools and assets, to the design of organisms and new metabolisms. Speakers include Neri Oxman, Kevin Slavin, Paola Antonelli and Joi Ito.
Wednesday and Thursday, July 15-16, at the Boston ICA and Media Lab
There are still a few spots left for those of you who’d like to attend in person (see details/contact info on the webpage). For those of you who can’t be there, the whole event will be webcast, and of course keep an eye on #knottyobjects on Twitter and Instagram.
