Sol – An apparatus that depicts pathways of the sun

Sol is a custom made apparatus that can depict any position and any trajectory of the sun. Since the sun’s path changes every day, the exact path it takes through the sky depends not only on the date but also on the geographical location of the observer. Sol reveals the different pathways the sun takes from anywhere in the world.

Augmented Shadow: Inside – Joon Moon

“Augmented Shadow”, devised by Joon Moon, refers to a device and experience that implements a form of augmented reality using shadows. This device creates an alternate reality by superimposing virtual shadows on the actual shadows of objects according to the angle of the lighting device that the audience controls.

Selected Network Studies – Network data and infrastructure as an A/V medium

Created by London-based musical duo the Network Ensemble, Selected Network Studies is a series of audiovisual pieces created using network data collected from a number of locations across London, Berlin and Rome. Bits And Pieces – An organic wave of Hoberman Spheres

Currently on show at Berlin’s NOME Gallery is the latest work by Nils Völker titled Bits And Pieces. The installation consists out of 108 mass-produced toy spheres hanging in the middle of the exhibition space, individually addressable and controlled, to create organic waves that appear to move throughout the space.

Saturn Submerged – Infinite boxes of infinite space
