Symphony in Acid – Typography, sound and (the limits of) language

Created as a collaboration between Max Cooper (Music) and Ksawery Komputery (video), ‘Symphony in Acid’ is a (generative) music video that maps every sound to the writings of Ludwig Wittgenstein with references to the combination of orchestral-like synths with 303-like synthesis of acid house.

Infinity – New malleable subject matter by UE

Ending tonight, after a week of live streaming, is the latest in the series of artworks by Universal Everything (UE) that feature 3D humans shrouded in digital costumes. Titled ‘Infinity’, the new work is a live stream, always reshaping and evolving from one character to the next, generating an average of 3,180 unique characters per hour with a total of 50,000+ variations over the last week, stream live on YouTube, only for a few more hours!

Four Transitions – The (unstoppable) passing of time on the half a century of technological advancement

‘A Drop of Light’ is an interactive new-media art research project aimed at developing a computer-generated holographic spot as a responsive techno-hypermedium with which the performer interacts and her techno-perception is embodied, expressed, and analyzed.

Vector Festival is a participatory and community-oriented initiative dedicated to showcasing digital games and creative media practices.

Paragraphica is a camera that utilizes location data and AI to visualize a “photo” of a specific place and moment. The camera exists both as a physical prototype and an online camera that you can try.

Imagined as a tool to provide assistance to a conventional approach to sculpting, here an AI model is developed to seek out strategies that provide a constant improvement to how a given form is achieved. By feeding it with different tools, rules and rewards through reinforcement learning, the team steer the process revealing unpredictable outcomes.

Chaotic Timer subverts the mechanism of a conventional timer. Its goal is to break out of one’s daily rhythmic flow. The device takes in the user’s stress level as input and asks the user to dial the duration of time to count down in minutes and seconds.
