Controlled Uncontrollables: SAD and the Bubble Printer

Developed in the context of Human 2 Objects project, the main concept was to reflect the human capacity to transform natural elements and to use the human body and its spatiality as an input for interactivity. As a result, the exhibition Controlled Uncontrollables is composed of two sculptural installations in a delicate interplay of art and technology.

SFPC tutor Celine Wong Katzman reflects on yet another successful session at the artist run school in New York.

Created by the Bachelor Photography and Master Product Design students at ECAL, #PhotoBooth is a project and a series of interactive installations showing how mobile phone cameras and the selfie phenomenon changed the way we look at ourselves.

Make Longer Cables is a short film including a custom made five-axis robotic arm that is trying to escape monotony by committing suicide.

Designed by 18 students at the HfG Interaction design course, Massive Media Installation is an interactive setup that combines screen with an LED wall to deliver an overwhelming Spaceracer experience game created using VVVV and Cinema 4D.

Originally conceived at the start of a global pandemic as a website, +1-home now continues its life as a digital installation in a gallery, custom-made to InterAccess’s immersive projection environment as a two-player interactive experience.

Latent Imaging and Imagining is part of an autoethnographic artistic research study to explore the concept of chrononormativity through an inverted perspective of nonconforming and how to negotiate a careful and queer mode of accessing childhood memories.

Current students at UAL Creative Computing Institute on the MSc Creative Computing course, have design and curated an exhibition inspired by the words of english poet William Blake.
