30 pieces of molded plastic, 2 HD projectors – hovering in the dark of Berlin's 401contemporary gallery is Robert Seidel's latest projection sculpture. Suspended from the ceiling and drenched in waves of light the amorph, skeletal structure comes alive – intricate, fragile, otherworldly. An alien entity locked in a state of flux.

The Obverse Box – Deru fuses sound, light, and artifact

“The Obverse Box” is a pico projector encased within a CNC-milled block of walnut, a “limited-edition sculptural object” to be released alongside American electronic musician Deru’s forthcoming album “1979”.

House Party – Scavenged, mechanical and synthesised orchestra

Created by Neil Mendoza during an artist in residence at Recology SF,  House Party is a musical installation that explores prized possessions in their native habitat. All the materials used to create this artwork, from the furniture to the computers, were scavenged from the discarded trash. The music is a mix of mechanical and synthesised sounds.

Underwater by David Bowen – Hundreds of servos controlling wave patterns

Created by David Bowen, Underwater is an installation created for INTERIEUR 2012. It uses a Microsoft Kinect to collected real-time surface data from moving wave patterns and translates them into this large scale installation comprised of hundreds of servo-motors.
