Q-BLOCK by Okuyama Kazuya is a webapp that allows you to create pixelart objects in 3d. Amongst many options, you can draw objects in 2d first and then extrude, change the background, pixel colour and even send custom size images you created as animated gifs (360 rotation generated for you) and use layers. Probably the most sophisticate 3D pixel art creation tool that I have seen.  Okuyama has created a number of amazing flash apps in the past and this is just one of them. Make sure you check out his portfolio here.

Created and directed by Roland Spencer, Pent is a short film entirely created using Grand Theft Auto V. Since the video games have taken leaps towards realism, Roland felt it was something worth putting time and effort into. The finished piece is a story about anger, control and pay off, told using a video game.
Created by Princemio in collaboration with onformative, the Pathfinder project was created with aim to contribute to the creative processes of choreographic development.

Created by Random International, Study for Fifteen Points explores the minimal amount of information that is necessary for the animated form to be recognised as human; and the fundamental impact created by subtle changes within that information.
