Calling all creative technologists! (remote position!)
OF COURSE (http://www.ofcourse.io/#/home) in Shanghai is recruiting creative technologists and digital artists to update and expand our existing range of online creative coding courses in the upcoming months.
Established by Chinese creative technologist Paul Cheng in New York in 2014, the OF COURSE team is a combination of top-shelf interactive artists, hackers, computer poets, and digital audio-visual experts.
Unique in its focus on fostering the Chinese creative coding community, OF COURSE emphasizes openness and interaction with global sources of inspiration. Aiming to connect fledgling Chinese tech artists, makers, dancers, and designers with top creative coding gurus and upcoming talents worldwide, in 2015 OF COURSE launched a base for the first Chinese creative coding community in Shanghai, where we set up a research center and laboratory with the tools and instruction to help learners master and find inspiration not only in techniques, but from field leaders and young creative counterparts in NYC, Germany, Chile, Poland, and many other sites worldwide.
We’re currently looking for instructors with a package of skills: the technical competence to teach a variety of creative coding platforms, a great teaching presence, and the ability to help students fully explore the possibilities of their projects and bring them to development.
Our courses are project-based, meaning instructors don’t teach like a typical topic-oriented or textbook approach – instead, teachers design projects or use their own portfolios to illustrate and teach creative coding skills that help students understand and master fundamentals aspects of each field.
The area we are interested in includes but not limited to:
* Unity AR
Audio Visual Systems
