sandstorm00SandScapes is a particle generator for the iPhone. Included are 8 different types, some interactive and some to sit back and enjoy. The interactive modules allow you to tilt and turn your iPhone or iPod Touch to move the falling sand to different parts of the screen. Simple yet very engaging, some of the the modules, especially the interactive ones where you are able to add emitters, are a real pleasure to play with. In addition if you find that you want to save images there is a "capture screen" button available and a number of settings specific to each module.

Sandscape is fun, enjoyable and enchanting app on the iPhone. Today the developer released 3 free versions of their app where each includes one of the modules available for SandScapes. They are SandGravity, SandMagnet and SandRiver. In addition there is also a demo (lite) version available (SandScapes Lite) should you wish to try out the app before you buy.Â
