Created by Julieta Gil, 23-3d-beach-sand-wallpaper presents simultaneous illusion and reality of space that is both a simulation of an interior and exterior, combined into one, and presented as a physical installation.

Julieta began with texture mapping in 3D software, wrapping images on virtual surface and using texturing technique in a feedback loop or as a self reference – the object itself becomes the image being textured.
