A homage to Homage to the Square of Josef Albers (1888-1976) is a daily auto-generated Square from random (popular) Instagram images.

A custom made script (PHP) uses the Instagram API to grab popular images and their 4 dominant colours. Colours are then distributed by ascending order into the Josef Albers's square template (see here). Squares are auto-generated every minute on the website and posted once a day on Instagram.
