Commissioned by Adobe, the following is the recently completed work by Robert Hodgin for their Remix project. The page on Behance details the process, from initial ideas to the iterative visual + code development in Cinder.
That is one of the problems with the iterative process. It is not uncommon to head down a path only to realize you have gotten yourself lost. I love simulating things from nature. My portfolio is riddled with terrain simulations and flocking simulations and grass simulations. So when I started to feel the urge to add the grassy field to the project, I made sure to keep an eye on my motivations. Was I adding grass because I thought it would help, or was I adding grass as a weird form of procrastination?
