'Voxel Chair' is a first prototype designed using a new design software specifically developed for robotic 3D-Printing. Rather than using pre-defined forms and then “slicing” these it into toolpaths or triangular patterns, this software allows to design and control thousands of line-fragments.

Created by Felix Heibeck while studying the “Digital Media” Program at the University of Bremen, Cuboino a tangible, digital extension for the marble-game cuboro and includes modules which are active parts of a digital system consisting of sensor cubes, actor cubes and supply cubes.
AIT (“Social Hacking”), taught for the first time this semester by Lauren McCarthy and Kyle McDonald at NYU’s ITP, explored the structures and systems of social interactions, identity, and self representation as mediated by technology.
