Icon do better – Exploring emergent property of exchanging symbols

Created by Ed Burton, Icon do better takes on a smart social twist of classic game combined with icon making. The twist in the game is that once a match of falling blocks is made in order to clear the group you have to make a new matching Icon to join them. Every person playing worldwide is making and matching icons with you. Your icons mingle with everyone else’s making the magic of shared meaning.

In Icon do better I've tried to embody in gameplay my feelings that technology is fallible, the symbology of software is necessarily collaborative and that consensus is an emergent property of exchanging symbols
