    • Supernova is the latest iPad application by award winning computer animator and software designer Glenn Marshall. If you recall Zio published previously on CAN which was followed with few other apps for iPad based on the somewhat similar experience – (Eyegasm series), Supernova is his new endeavour, inspired by Hubble telescope style photography and Turner paintings, this a generative animation piece allowing you to create endless forms of galaxies/stars. Watch stellar visuals in deep space as they slowly expand and contract, use pinch and touch gestures to freely move, zoom and rotate, shake to regenerate random colours and more.

    The app is now available! currently under review at Apple and should be available from iTunes around next week. In the meantime, check out this gallery of visuals generated on Glenn’s site.
