BSaralee Sittigaroon is a Thai experience designer based in New York City. Her work explores the entanglement of bits, atoms, and humans to tell create a paradigm-shifting and enjoyable experience. She focuses on developing new interfaces and interactions between humans, computers, and the built environment.
Currently, Saralee works as an Experiential Designer at Optimist inc. where she design activations for brands like Apple inc., Adidas, Smart Europe, Lululemon and so on. She holds a Master of Computational Design Practices with the CDP Program award from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). During her time at GSAPP, she served as a research assistant for the Natural Materials Lab. Prior to venturing into computational design, Saralee trained as an architect. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture with First-Class Honors from Chulalongkorn University in 2014 and worked as a licensed architect in various corporate and studio settings, as well as on a freelance basis. Her designed work won TIDA Awards 2019, Best of small residential design and Commended Awards for the Project with Appealing Aspects from 2020 ASA Architectural Design. In 2022, she received a grant from Fulbright's Thai Graduate Scholarship Program (TGS) to study in the US.
