We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this posting.

We shall not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the Site may be suspended temporarily or permanently without notice.

Account Terms

You must be 13 years or older to use this Service. You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.

You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.

Your login may only be used by one person – a single login shared by multiple people is ONLY permitted to “Education” and “Studio” accounts. If you have subscribed as “Studio”, up to 20 users are allowed using single login name. “Education” accounts are permitted to be solely used for sharing amongst your students to access protected material otherwise not available to non-registered users. The holders of “Education” accounts are required not to circulate private details of these accounts beyond their class within the the demise of their educational institution or course of study. Likewise they are expected to inform their students of the same and retain responsibility to maintain and regularly update passwords on the accounts to prevent misuse of the account. If the “Education” account has not been used for more than a yet it will be made “Inactive”. To reactivate “Education” account, please get in touch with us. CreativeApplications.Net retains the right to cancel these accounts at any time should if the misuse occurs and will notify the account owner/registrar of such actions prior to cancelation.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You are responsible for all Content posted and activity that occurs under your account (even when Content is posted by others who have accounts under your account).

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

Payment, Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading Terms

PayPal account is required for paying single user accounts (Stripe in some special cases). If studio and you prefer not to use PayPal, STRIPE payment is also available. STRIPE payment is also available for single user account if no PayPal access is available. Please get in touch fo details.

Protected Content

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, make private, make ‘available to members only’ any content on the website. If you are the “Author” of content, you can request this content be made public /non-private. We reserve the right not to do so if we feel the content should stay private and will provide justification and reasons why this may be so.

Normally, content is “archived” and becomes “Member Only” two years after its original post date. All “new” content, ie less than 2 years old, is kept public. Some articles (see above) are excluded. 

Submitting Project/Event

Standard Submission Form: These submissions are subject to standard CAN curatorial selection, ie we choose whether to write a post about the project/event depending on the existing content already published on CAN.

Post (members only) Submission Form: Bypasses the above and goes under editorial check and edit to ensure quality is met. Posts are published under member submissions category and only subject to curatorial selection whether it comes to them being promoted on social media. They are otherwise visible on the site, front page (member submission) and blog.

Rights: When you submit content to us, you agree and represent that you have created this content, or you have received permission from, or are authorised by, the owner of any part of the content to submit it to us. You or the owner of the content still own the copyright in the content sent to us, but by submitting content to us, you are granting us an unconditional, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully transferable, perpetual worldwide licence to use, publish or transmit, or to authorise third-parties to use, publish or transmit your content in any format and on any platform (including social media), either now known or hereinafter invented.

We reserve the right to refuse to publish, cut, crop or edit your content at our or their sole discretion. We may remove your content from use at any time.

You warrant that the content you submit to us does not infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual or proprietary or privacy right of any party or individual.

Cancellation and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate or restrict access to the Site if these Terms and Conditions are breached.

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent effect; to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any form of spam; to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware; to undertake any other activity that would contravene the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (UK).

You are solely responsible for properly canceling your Account. A responding email from us must be received as evidence of Account cancellation.

If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid up year, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again. CreativeApplications.Net, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service, or any other service, for any reason at any time. Such termination of the service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account or your access to your account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all Content in your Account. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Please note that your membership to CAN is active as long as you maintain your subscription. If your subscription is canceled, your CAN membership will convert to “expired” at the end of the subscription period. With “expired” accounts you can still login to re-enable your subscription but you will not be able to access protected content after the account has expired. Please cancel your subscription ONLY when you no longer plan to use or access CAN’s protected content.

Expired accounts are deleted 7 days after the expiry date. We do not keep our past members’ information.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

CreativeApplications.Net reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

Prices of all Services, including but not limited to annual subscription plan fees to the Service, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the our site.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Links to other websites

This website contains links to other websites that are operated by third parties. CAN does not accept any liability over the content of these third party sites. The existence of these links do not constitute an endorsement of such websites, and your linking to these sites is at your own risk.

Deletion of account and associated data

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please send us an email at members[at]creativeapplications.net and we will do this for you. Please note that this will not stop subscription – this need to be done manually from your ‘Recurring Payments Dashboard’ on PayPal or by clicking on the link to STRIPE (see above). We regularly review expired accounts and delete user data to comply with GDRP regulations. If you believe your account was deleted in error, please let us know.

Privacy Policy

CreativeApplications.Net [CAN] request basic personal information from you if you decide to sign up with us. This information includes a username, password, your real name and your email address. Other information you provide us with is optional. The information you provide to CAN is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. CAN does not share this information with any third parties with the only exception as may be required by law. CAN uses “cookies” to help with the login process and to track site usage. This information is anonymous. We use this information only to improve the functionality of the website.

Q&A

I am a Member but can’t log-in

If you are having issues logging in, for example, you enter login and password, click login, and you are still logged out, the issue may be related to your browser cookie for CAN being corrupt. Go to your browser preferences and find website data (search for creativeapplications.net), and delete this website data. Your login should work as expected.

I am logged-in but can’t access Member content

Try logging out first and logging back in. Sometimes, the system doesn’t recognise that you are logged in due to cookie corruption. Once you log out, you should be able to log back in as expected.
