As a recurrent international digital festival, KIKK explores the economical and artistic implications of new technologies, considering that appropriating or anticipating the changes allows transforming them into opportunities. KIKK probes the subject in its full sense: through the Konference, WorKshop and eKsperience spaces, it wants to provide the public with access to information and experimenting with these new possibilities.
Filip Visnjic of CreativeApplications.Net will give a talk at Kikk alongside great names such as Ben Hammersley, Lernert &Sander, Anne-Sophie Fradier, Andrew Zolty, Hector Ayuso, Multitouch Barcelona, Niklas Roy, Jakob Kahlen, Jul et Mat, Benjamin De Cock, Michael Seifert, Nico Perez, … and more
There is no expert who can deny the deep mutations going on in our society over the last decades. Our world is changing, quickly and on global scale. Every day new processes, new concepts and new techniques are born. Our beacons are washed away and this is continually speeding up more and more. The trend nowadays consists of no-trend: always moving on change. We must adapt to this, anticipate, continually. The economic atmosphere is no exception to this: the companies who survive are those who manage to integrate these new principles and create opportunities of them. The KIKK was born within this context. It is profiled as a panel of the best offerings in the field of economical and artistic innovations. It aims at planting the seed of creativity in the core business of companies and in the heart of the public, in order to guide them into our new, heterogeneous, digital world.
KIKK takes place from Thursday November 24th 2011 /10h00 until Friday November 25th 2011/ 18h00, in the Palais des Congrès of Namur, Belgium.
Entry is FREE and you can book your tickets here. See you there!
KIKK’s logo is a random generative logo which takes its texture from pictures behind, and distort it when taking its final position.
