Imposition – Live performance by Edisonnoside and Daniel Schwarz
Created and performed by Edisonnoside and visual artist Daniel Schwarz, imposition is a live audiovisual performance that combines dark, blurry electronic music and non-linear rhythms meld with hypnotic abstract visuals superimposed on a matrix of rods. “Image and sound go hand in hand -each influences the other, feeds off the other- and in this fusion, play with the perception of space and reality.”
The artists play live inside this structure, which is modular and usually made of 20 – 40 rods, each 180cm in height. As performed during the NODE Forum the setup includes using Ableton for the audio and vvvv for the visuals and mapping all synchronized using Midi signals in a 40 minutes live performance.
The duo also experimented with scenography in miniature in the short film ‘VANISH’ produced by FABRICA (making of).
