The Helical Echo is a sculptural totem created for CultHoldings, embodying the fluid and evolving nature of doctrine. The piece is engraved with the following passage:
Looping sequence of abstract forms, inspired by the structure of DNA. Segments shift and rearrange over time, echoing the foundational seed of Cult Holdings and the idea of doctrine as fluid, open to flexibility, belief, and change. In this piece, Cult Holdings’ philosophy becomes a living manuscript, its meaning gently reshaped with every iteration, inviting reflection on the endless potential for reinvention. Rendered through a Pepper’s Ghost illusion, the abstracted helix appears suspended as a holographic presence, transforming intangible truths into a visible, tangible form.
The totem is not only a reflection of CultHoldings’ dynamic philosophy but also a modular, evolving object. Like the abstracted DNA forms it displays, the sculpture itself is designed to evolve. The visual sequences can be easily upgraded and reshaped, allowing new abstractions to emerge and grow over time. Additionally, the internal computer and screen components are easily exchangeable, inviting perpetual reinvention and transformation.
