Five students from the Design Art Technology (DAT) department at ArtEZ share their final semester research projects. DAT is a four year BA that helps students develop their own voice in a complex and technological world and find their place in (or in-between) the fields of Experimental Design, Media Arts and Creative Technology.

Troblionis an autonomous spherical robot that rolls in an oval partially irrigated sandbox. By following very simple programmed rules, the objects produces a variety of different motion characteristics that can be interpreted as emotion.

L’Artisan Electronique invites visitors to sculpt virtual pottery using hand gestures in the air. Their saved creations are displayed on a wall, and selected pieces are 3D-printed in clay using a custom-built ceramic printer.
