Every month (or two) we bring you updates on the latest V6 features and fixes.

In this month’s development log: We’ve updated article pages to show related projects by the same person (People) and completely revamped Educational Accounts––managers can edit details directly from their Personal Account. Big update to the Saved feature, letting you now save Events, Members, People, and Tools across the site, with all new saves logged in the Activity. Head over to your Saved to try it out!

• (feature) Article Pages – Now you can see new ‘related’ section on the project posts showing other projects by the same person (People Taxonomy).
• (maintenance) Activity – Email notifications about an unread mention is now sent out automatically 2 days after being posted. If there is need, we may reduce this in the future.

• (feature) Education – These accounts have now been revamped on both how they are obtained and how they are managed. As a manager of the Educational Account you can now edit this account details directly from your Personal Account. No longer can students accidentally change email/password :) Linked Educational Accounts no longer have access to profile edit. These details can only be edited by managers in their own accounts.
• (maintanance) Education – From January 2026, all Educational Account managers will be required to also have Personal Accounts. We have shared the details of theese changes with all Edu members. In case you haven’t recieved this email, you can learn about these changes here.
• (feature) Members with linked Educational Accounts now have a new badge on their profiles (links to edu account). Likewise, Educational Accounts now include the same badge linking back to the manager of that account. Site logo for educational accounts will say CAN––V6_EDU.

• (feature) Saved – Major updates to Saved feature. You can now also save Events, Members, People and Tools accross the site. The Saved section has been updated to include all your saves, with tabs for different types. We also had to make some big changes to Activity code so the new saves are also recorded there. For example, if you save another Member, you will see this action recorded in Activity.

Lastly, our Activity map is growing, showing member interactions. If you haven’t updated your Location (City), please do so on the /edit-profile/ page under ‘Location’ and see who else is in your city or any upcoming events in your city.
