Perpetual Beta [encounters in open space] – Exhibition & Weekly Events

From June 4th to July 4th, The Grey Space embarks on a large-scale experiment entitled Perpetual Beta. In close collaboration with a group of makers and the public, a new form of presentation is explored based on the principles of open source. The result is an exhibition of work-in-progress, where the public is invited to take a look, participate and contribute.

Created by Moniker, Neuhaus.world is a participatory, interactive music video for Lake of Pavement, a new track by the emerging Rotterdam based artist Jo Goes Hunting.

Created by Studio Puckey & Moniker, Radio Garden is a research project that places radio research within contemporary discussions about migration, cultural identities, encounters and memories by generating new knowledge about the meaning of radio and listening in the age of globalisation and digitisation.

Created by Moniker (Roel Wouters & Luna Maurer) and made in conjuction with We Are Data travelling installation, Clickclickclick.click reveals the browser events used to monitor our online behaviour.

Directed and developed by Moniker and Studio Puckey, Out of Line involves hundreds of animated lines being drawn by visitors on top of the music video. All drawn lines are saved on their servers and are then rendered into the video to be seen by future visitors.

‘Your Line or Mine’ is an interactive installation in the Stedelijk Museum comprised of three continually changing crowd sourced animations drawn entirely by the museum’s visitors.

After 50 years of pointing and clicking, Studio Moniker are celebrating the nearing end of the computer cursor with a music video where all our cursors can be seen together for one last time.
