Created and written by Neven Mrgan & James Moore, Blackbar is a political statement as a response to ███████ and a text game: a sci-fi story of a dystopian future told through the medium of word puzzles. Those who have had a chance to explore text adventures and interactive fiction, the game incorporates a unique but simple mechanic centered around the concept of censorship. As described by the authors — “███████ is frustrating, but the human spirit can beat that frustration by turning it into a game”.

We have only started going through it and while some ██████████ may be easy, following the story, others that appear simple turn out to be much harder. You will pick it up quickly but others will keep you searching, resorting to synonyms, thinking, and sometimes maybe trying for days.
