Thanks to Google Reader staying on top of news is pretty easy these days, that is, if one can keep up. I have around 300+ subscriptions and at times this can be quite overwhelming. Nevertheless, one always focusses on the favorites and catches up with the others when time is on our side.

FlowingData
FlowingData explores how designers, statisticians, and computer scientists are using data to understand ourselves better – mainly through data visualization. More emphasis on statistics/data visualization than inforgraphics, FlowingData is a great resourse for latest news on data visualization. Code & Form
Code & Form is a blog for the coding and teaching activities of Marius Watz. It contains documentation of workshops as well as code snippets and libraries. The main focus is on Processing. (Twitter)
OpenProcessing
A great place to share your Processing sketches and work. About 10-20 sketches uploaded daily, so many it’s hard to keep up. If you are working with Processing or wanting to learn, a great place to start.

Offworld
Ran by Brandon Boyer, Offworld is another branch of the internet-institution Boing Boing. A wonderful collection of game innovation related news with a good retro feel put in the mix. One of my favorite blogs I read daily (twitter). It is also worth subscribing to Brandon’s del.icio.us account for some truly great links.
Joystiq
My favorite Games blog for any game geek regardless of which console you own. A fun, easy reading and very informative ran by some great peeps. Joystiq strives to maintain accuracy, to dig deeper, to do away with meaningless PR prattle, to gracefully decline luxury Cappuccino machines (even the really nice ones with Espresso functionality), to ask the awkward questions and … to wallow. A must..
AppShopper
A website by  macrumors‘s Arnold Kim (twitter) to track all activity in the iTunes App Store. My morning destination where I browse through about 300 apps for the iPhone released each day. “j” and “k” keys on the keyboard get plenty of work here.
Touch Arcade
Another website by  macrumors‘s Arnold Kim (twitter) with Blake Patterson (twitter) and Eli Hodapp (twitter) brings you latest in iPhone gaming. If it’s new or in the works, Touch Arcade will cover it. Targeted at the more mainstream audience the site is a great place to go to feed your iPhone shopping addiction.
148Apps
Latest iPhone reviews and news brought to you by the great team at 148apps. Ran by Jeff Scott (twitter), the site also keeps track of what’s selling , what’s new and what prices are dropping in the iTunes App Store. Find them also on Twitter , Facebook, and Friendfeed.

Ran by Pieter, a Belgian living Berlin, Germany, the website is a collection of things that are beautiful in advertising, art, design, fashion, music and sneakers. A great resource for the latest work artists/developers are doing. Join groups, add contacts to find latest stuff. As vimeo is most loved amongst the creatives, rest assured you will never run our of animated content to fill your day.
Flickr
Same as Vimeo, meet, add, follow artists, creatives for their latest work. We have also added a group on Flickr so if you have projects/works you would like to share, please join the group and add your photos to the pool.
