  • Frost is a reactive projection scenography for a dansk danseteater / danish dance theatre dance performance, developed by Ole Kristensen with choreographer Tina Tarpgaard and programmer Jonas Jongejan.

Jonas was working with the dancers of danish dance theatre to create an environment of frozen bodies, melting ice and dripping waters. The scenography primarily consists of video projections in concert with andreas buhl’s lighting design using led based light sources with infrared tracking.

    Performances:

    Equipment

    -recent generation apple mac pro

    -3 infrared lights, diffused
-videoprojector, min. 10.000 ansi lumens with 0.7 optics
-conventional as well as led based lighting fixtures attached to a grandma lighting desk

If you are interested in more theatre groups that utilise projections/visual technology in their performances, I recommend following the work of Klaus Obermaier, Complicite and DV8 (later work).
