With constant connectivity, time is treated as a commodity to be packed with information.

Constant Point of Data : Shift in which human life is treated as raw material for the digital economy. Under surveillance capitalism, every action is captured and converted into data to predict and influence future behavior. Companies have moved from simply monitoring behavior to “actuating” it; by using subtle cues and rewards, they nudge individuals toward profitable outcomes, effectively turning humans into programmable units within a larger system.

This project attempts to create a graceful outcome, with a set of three simple rules :

each impulse has a direct consequence
motion is the only way forward
the past informs the future

This project is an iteration of a larger exploration, investigating novel applications of turntablism for audiovisual composition and performance, focusing on elastic tempo manipulation.
