CURRENTS New Media 2021 Festival

CURRENTS New Media, Santa Fe’s annual art and technology festival, is back this summer with a hybrid exhibition of online and in-person work June 18th – 27th, 2021.  

CURRENTS SANTA FE: This year, our onsite exhibition will take place at the Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe, our year-round gallery space on Canyon Road, Currents 826 and throughout the Santa Fe Railyard. These exhibitions feature over 30 new media works from artists across the globe, including interactive installations, augmented reality & app-based art forms, single channel video and more. 

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we will be requiring reservations for timed entry. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time. CURRENTS Virtual 2021 offers an alternative to the annual in-person CURRENTS New Media Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico. CURRENTS Virtual includes over 50 artists in the categories of AR, VR, 360° videos, desktop experiences, and videos that are exclusive to the online portion of the festival. There will also be a number of virtual lobbies to socialize with attendees from all around the world. CURRENTS Virtual will be held on Ohyay, a new and highly interactive platform for virtual events.
