Resonate is back to celebrate its fifth anniversary in Belgrade from 12th to 16th of April, 2016, providing an insight into the current developments in the fields of digital culture, visual arts and music.
01/04/2016The Automatic Orchestra is an audio installation exploring algorithmic composition and networked music. A common set of rules distributed among a network of MIDI devices opens up a melodic space orchestrated by automatic logic.
28/01/2016Earlier this year, Resonate festival was the host to Transcranial, a CAN initiated project bringing Klaus Obermaier, Daito Manabe and Kyle McDonald to Belgrade for two weeks to work on a new performance piece, creating a bridge between three festivals in Europe.
05/11/2014Resonate festival in Belgrade is back for another year bringing artists together to drive a forward-looking debate on the position of technology in art and culture. ‘Early Bird’ tickets go on sale Wednesday 16th October.
30/09/2013David Gauthier talks education and research, in particular the interaction Design Programme (IDP) at CIID. A 12 month full time Masters programme, hosting a maximum of 25 students that benefits from eighty percent of the teaching done by the visiting faculty, hired on demand from various disciplines.

23/04/2012Golan Levin was invited by the FITC conference to answer a series of “Ask Me Anything” questions posted by Reddit visitors. At the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, Golan’s video was created by Fellows James George and Jonathan Minard, artists-in-residence researching new forms of experimental 3D cinema. Their work explores the notion of “re-photography”, in which otherwise frozen moments in time may be visualized from new points of view.
