Returning the Gaze – Perpetual (male)surveillance

Created by Behnaz Farahi, ‘Returning the Gaze’ explores the complicity of the fashion industry with female objectification and sexual harassment. Comprised of a female model wearing a spacesuit-like outfit and accompanied by four robotic arms, the gaze of the model is directed back at the viewer.

The 12th edition of the Patchlab SPACE/S Digital Art Festival will take place from October 19th to 22nd in Krakow and on October 28th at the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzow

In November 2019, CAN joined the biannual ECAL Research Day to find out how methodologies borrowed from science and engineering can strengthen creative practice—and drive the conversation.

Hyperfeel is a series of four video artworks by FIELD produced for the launch of the Hyperfeel shoe for Nike.
